Deepwood Canine Consultant Policies
We do not accept intact (non-neutered) male dogs over the age of 9 months or female dogs in heat into group social classes without prior approval from the instructor.
We are a family-friendly environment and we understand the need to both train a puppy and work with small children. All children over the age of 10 are welcome as long as they are not disruptive, and are willing to remain seated in the classroom.
Class Cancellation & Refund Policy
All prices are subject to change. Cancellations require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice or a 50% cancellation fee may apply. Each reservation holds a spot in a limited sized-class. If you cannot make your current class schedule, we encourage you to consider transferring to a different class (where your fees will be also transferred); however the transferring is subject to availability of the class. No refunds will be issued once a class has started.

Private Training Cancellations
Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice or 50% cancellation fee may apply. 100 % cancellation fee applies for No Shows.
There are no make-ups for missed classes; however, you are welcome to sit in on any future session without your dog. If interested, makeup sessions can be scheduled as a private session with your Instructor, however the make-up is charged to you as a one-hour private training fee. If your dog is unable to attend due to an injury or illness during your course, you will receive a 50% discount towards a future class.
Notifications regarding weather or emergency cancellations will be given as soon as possible before class. The class times for the make-up sessions will be the same as the original classes, unless the class and instructor mutually agree upon an alternate date and time. There are no refunds for make-up classes that you are unable to attend.
Reservations made for any of the following dates are subject to our Holiday Reservation Policy:
- New Years’: December 26th through January 7th
- Independence Day: July 1st-July 7th
- Thanksgiving Week- Prior Sunday through Following Saturday
- Christmas Holiday: December 14th through December 25th
All Holiday Reservations require a deposit equal to 50% of the total invoice in order to secure the reservation. If you cancel your reservation 15 or more days before the first scheduled date of service, your deposit will be fully refunded. If you cancel your reservation within 14 days of the first scheduled date of service, you will forfeit your deposit.
