Appointment Policy:

COVID-19 Update: In an effort to continue to provide care for your pets, while keeping the opportunity for virus spread at a controlled minimum, we have set up a safety protocol. We ask that when you arrive for your scheduled appointment, please call our front desk from your vehicle at 703-631-9133. DO NOT ENTER THE LOBBY. A technician will speak with you over the phone to obtain your pet’s history/concern and then meet you in the foyer to take your pet in for their exam. At that time you must return to wait in your vehicle. Once the exam is complete, the doctor will call you to review the findings and handle any financial transactions over the phone (we are only accepting credit card or CareCredit payment at this time). A technician will meet you in the foyer for you to take your pet home after the exam.

Deepwood Veterinary Clinic sees non-emergency patients by scheduled appointments and by scheduled drop-off appointments.  We offer emergency appointments on an as needed basis. New patients should arrive 15 minutes prior to their first appointment to fill out new patient intake forms.

We make every effort to see patients at their scheduled appointment time. However, emergency and urgently ill or injured cases will receive top priority. Any pet in need of critical care that arrives during your visit may result in delays. We would greatly appreciate your understanding when emergency situations arise which require our immediate attention.

If you are running late for an appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible at (703) 631-9133, so that we can adjust our schedule and/or update your appointment time if needed.

Cancellations & No-Show Appointments:

As a courtesy to other clients who may be in need of appointments, we request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you will be unable to make your scheduled appointment. We understand that emergency situations may arise from time to time that make such advance notice impossible. However, please be advised that repeated no-shows or last-moment rescheduling of your appointments may result in a fee of up to $25 per scheduled appointment.

 

Payment Policy:

Deepwood Veterinary Clinic requires payment at the time that services are rendered. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Care Credit, cash, and checks. If you have any financial questions or concerns, our staff will be happy to provide you with a treatment plan to help you calculate the varying costs of different options for services presented for your consideration. If you have doubts about approving any veterinary services you elect to receive at Deepwood, please be sure address your concerns with us before care is administered.
